Il prend en charge divers modes de passerelle Modbus ainsi que des modes de passerelle IoT client MQTT/HTTP (MQTTC/HTTPC), répondant ainsi aux besoins de mise en réseau de divers dispositifs série et automates programmables (API). Conçu selon des normes industrielles, cet appareil garantit une grande fiabilité. Il facilite la transmission transparente de données série en paquets TCP/IP pour Ethernet ; la conversion de protocole étant gérée en interne, les utilisateurs n'ont pas à se soucier des détails techniques sous-jacents. Le produit bénéficie d'un revêtement de protection (conformal coating) assurant une résistance aux moisissures, à l'humidité et au brouillard salin.
